Our Pastor

Bishop Kevin R. Richardson, M.A.

Bishop Kevin R. Richardson is the establishmentarian and pastor of Hope Fellowship Church in Suitland, Maryland, where he serves with a passion for discipleship, leadership development, and kingdom advancement. He answered his call to ministry while a member of Jordan Baptist Church in Capitol Heights, Maryland, and during his service in the United States Air Force, he was licensed and ordained under Pastor E. L. Bowman of Greater Mt. Tabor Christian Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

Consecrated as Bishop on August 3, 2019, Bishop Richardson has ministered both domestically and internationally. While stationed overseas, he pastored the Gospel Service at RAF Bentwaters in the United Kingdom and presided over the United Kingdom Christian Fellowship, overseeing 26 American-led churches.

He currently serves as a facilitator with the J.D. Ellis Training Academy and as the Academic Coordinator for Adjutants Training with the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops. Previously, he served Bishop Robert E. White of New Hope Baptist Church for 20 years as Executive Assistant to the Pastor and Chief Adjutant.

His community service included work with the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Clergy Response Team and volunteer ministry with the D.C. Air National Guard Chapel.

Bishop Richardson holds an Associate of Applied Science in Educational & Instructional Technology from the Community College of the Air Force and earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Master of Arts in Practical Theology from Regent University.

An accomplished author, he wrote So, You Want The Title; Why Is Everyone So Hung Up On Them Anyway??? and Leadership Is Not For Everyone; Leading God’s Way In A Changing World and contributed to the book Boots And Beyond; Stories of Trials, Tragedy, Triumphs and Transition.
